The GRT-ASC series hybrid intelligent filtering compensation device combines the three functions of active filtering, active dynamic reactive power compensation, and passive tuning compensation, effectively filtering out harmonic currents generated by nonlinear loads, improving three-phase imbalance, and providing inductive and capacitive reactive current to ensure power factor compliance.

Device Composition

The hybrid intelligent filtering and compensation device is composed of an active output part, a passive compensation part, and a detection and control circuit. The main power devices all adopt a modular structure, which is simple to install, easy to maintain, and convenient for capacity expansion.
 
The active output module adopts an advanced three-level topology structure, with a switching frequency of 20kHz or above. It supports two algorithms: Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and instantaneous reactive power. It can automatically adjust the output according to the changes in the grid operating load, effectively filtering out harmonics of 2 to 50 times in the distribution system, and dynamically, bidirectionally, and continuously adjusting the reactive power. Functions such as harmonic filtering, dynamic reactive power compensation, and three-phase unbalance adjustment are optional.
 
The passive output module and the active output module are coordinated and controlled by a unified control system, without the need to add a capacitor switching controller. The active and passive parts can be flexibly combined to achieve the target power factor in the optimal way.
